What Causes Swirl Marks

Automatic car washes, dirty towels and dry wiping leave fine circular scratches in the clear coat. They are most visible on dark paint under direct sun, and they make a car look dull even when it is clean.

What a One-Step Polish Can Fix

A one-step correction removes 80 to 90 percent of light defects such as swirls, haze and water spots. Deep scratches that you can feel with a fingernail go through the clear coat and cannot be fully polished out, but they usually become much less visible.

Paint Polish FAQ

Is paint polish the same as waxing?

No. Wax adds temporary shine and protection on top of the paint. Polishing removes a very thin layer of clear coat to level out swirls and restore the gloss.

Can you polish my car at my home?

Yes. We bring our own equipment and work in your driveway or parking lot, as long as the property allows it.

How long does a paint polish take?

Usually 3 to 4 hours, depending on the size and condition of the vehicle.

Do you remove water spots?

Yes. Water spot removal ($60) is available on its own, and most light water spots are removed during the Elite Paint Polish.

Should I choose polish or ceramic coating?

Choose the Elite Paint Polish to restore the shine. Choose a ceramic coating package if you also want long-term protection: it includes the same 1-step polish plus the coating.
